Amy Hess Fischl, MS, RDN, LDN, BC-ADM, CDCES, is an advanced practice dietitian, diabetes educator and coordinator for the University of Chicago Kovler Diabetes Center. She has been working with both adults and children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes for over 20 years.
