Answer
Medicare Advantage covers medical services, mainly durable medical goods, physicians within a wide network and hospital visitation. A prescription drug plan does not cover those but can offer low-cost prescriptions. Often, prescription drug plans are limited but can help patients who take prescription drugs for a longer period and do not need many specialized medications. Even for advantage users, Medicare coverage can sometimes fail to cover those.
